The Principles of Yoga Sequencing
This one-day, in-person, workshop provides essential methods and principles for designing yoga classes that progress safely and steadily from one pose to the next. Using both lecture and practice, this offering is detailed and includes multiple sequences for beginner, intermediate and advanced practitioners. Ancient yoga philosophy is discussed along with functional anatomy, biomechanics and kinesiology. The relationship of asanas (poses) are explored as it relates to balance, stabilization and mobility. In addition, the chakra system and meridian lines of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Ayurvedic flow of prana (energy) is also discussed as it relates to designing yoga sequences.

Sunday Morning Brew Yoga - Check back for updates as the season changes
Whether you're new to yoga or experienced, this class is for you! During this one hour offering, we'll move through energizing poses that link breath to movement. Standing, balancing and seated poses will be combined to build strength and flexibility while providing a well-rounded experience from beginning to end. Class is $5. Pay in-person. Bring a mat and prepare to have fun. 50% of proceeds go to the Spandala giving bank.
