This four-hour self-study course is designed for health and wellness professionals seeking to enhance their understanding of releasing tension in the neck and shoulders via yoga practices.
Yoga is more than a passing trend, just as neck and shoulder tension are persistent issues. As stress builds up in our daily routines, it's increasingly common to hold it in our bodies, leading to symptoms that manifest in various areas. This can affect our sleep, energy, physical pain, and overall quality of life. This course will explore the history of yoga and offer straightforward techniques to aid you and your clients in maintaining a healthy posture and alleviating muscle tension. Additionally, you will be provided a guided yoga practice and meditations to foster stress reduction and relaxation.
This activity has been approved by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. (NCHEC) for a total of 4 entry-level Category 1 CECH - Two (2) have been approved for advanced-levels credits (MCHES). This is also an approved offering with Yoga Alliance.
