The Menopause Series
This six-hour self-study with audio/video modules and handouts is being offered to health and wellness professionals who want to learn more about methods that can assist their clients in cultivating balance and harmony during the menopausal years.
The menopause journey is unique for everyone. Some women experience it in their early 40s while some women experience it in their late 50s. Some women go through it smoothly with minor impact while some suffer through varied symptoms of pre or perimenopause and then menopause. Regardless, each woman does experience it as it’s a natural part of life. In some cultures, many women do not experience menopause symptoms at all. In these cultures, the belief is when the body is in balance, menopausal symptoms do not exist. How do we achieve this state of balance. In this series, we’ll discuss menopause and what this means which includes the peri and post states. We’ll look at nutrition, movement, sleep, and stress. In addition, we’ll review varied therapies that may also assist. The goal of this series is to review the foundations of health and educate you on the options available including natural methods that have proven validity.
