This five-hour self-study course is designed for health and wellness professionals seeking to enhance their understanding of working with clients who desire to become pregnant, are pregnant or are in the postpartum phase.
This course takes a comprehensive look at preconception, prenatal and postpartum health. It provides an in-depth look at the physiological and anatomical changes that take place during this miraculous time. It also explains how the body adapts and works in harmony to promote health and wellness for both mother and child. This course comes with a manual and provides detailed information regarding current exercise guidelines during pregnancy and discusses contraindications. In addition, there are detailed illustrations of exercises during each trimester for the entire body with modifications. Lastly, mindfulness and stress management are also discussed with guided relaxation audios provided. This is the guide for all health and wellness professionals to assist their clients in cultivating health and harmony during this special time!
